We keep the honesty rules simple and public:
- We publish only real, verified operator credentials. We do not invent award years, star ratings, or review counts.
- Every price on this site is an estimate as of 2026, quoted by a named source, and it changes with boat, season, route, and group size.
- Komodo National Park entrance, ranger, and conservation fees are set by park authorities, differ for foreign versus Indonesian visitors, can carry weekend or holiday surcharges, and change periodically. We tell you to verify current rates before you travel rather than quoting a number we can’t stand behind.

According to Komodo Touristic, its listed trip prices include the boat, crew, meals, mineral water, tea, a tour guide, snorkeling gear, leisure activities, and hotel transfers. Not included, per the same source: Komodo National Park entrance fees, dive trips, insurance, flight tickets, and hotel. We repeat that split on every money page because it is where most surprise costs hide. Komodo Touristic also states the minimum private charter is 2D1N and the maximum is 5D4N, and recommends booking at least one month ahead.

The 3D2N format is the common flagship because it unlocks the fuller route: Padar’s sunrise viewpoint, Komodo and Rinca for ranger-guided dragon treks, Manta Point, Taka Makassar’s sandbank, Kanawa, Pink Beach, and the Kalong sunset bat flight. A single day covers less but still reaches names like Kelor, Kanawa, and Siaba Besar.
How does booking work?
- Tell us your group and dates. Party size (4 to 20), preferred trip length, and target month. August and New Year sell out earliest.
- We match a boat class. You get one or two fit-first recommendations by class, route, and capacity, not a wall of listings.
- We quote an all-in itinerary estimate. Boat plus route, with park fees, diving, and insurance shown clearly as add-ons on top.
- Confirm with a deposit. Deposits are typically taken to hold your date; bank transfer is common. Confirm exact deposit and payment terms with the reservations team.
- Final details before departure. We verify current park fees and any permits (drone, diving) and lock your Labuan Bajo departure plan.
Komodo Touristic advises booking at least one month in advance; for peak dates, earlier is safer.
